A Letter to the Little One in You
May 28, 2026
Dear little one, I see you. I see the way you watch the world with wide eyes. I see the way you light up at color, at music, at a kind word. I know the world has told you to grow up, to toughen up, to put the wonder away. But I am writing to tell you: the wonder is the point.
The child you were is still inside you. Still hopeful. Still curious. Still capable of joy that has no reason. You do not have to earn that joy. You only have to make room for it.
So today, do one small thing for the little one in you. Draw something. Sing off-key. Rest without guilt. Healing is lifelong, they say — but it is also made of these small, ordinary kindnesses. I hope this space helps you remember that you are seen, and you are understood.
